Hybrid monitoring has increasingly become a priority in the SCOM community. A growing number of enterprises are running workloads both on-prem and in the cloud, with some of us creating new workloads in the cloud, and others engaging in a gradual migration to the cloud – a process that often takes place over a number of years.
How can we deliver a complete monitoring strategy for our hybrid environments via SCOM?
This is where the Azure Management Pack comes in. Microsoft’s Azure MP enables you to monitor the availability and performance of your Azure resources, directly from your SCOM platform. With this MP, you can monitor Virtual Machines, Storage accounts and Application Insights, as well as see relevant alerts in SCOM. With the upcoming release, the Azure MP will also allow you to select resources at the resource group level.
To find out more, check out the video recording of our webinar, where Microsoft Product Manager, Neha Garg, and SquaredUp’s Adam Kinniburgh showcase the Azure MP. They discuss its full range of capabilities and features, while also covering the supported service types in Azure and the new features in the upcoming CTP release.
