Wow. What a blast!
Last week we were joined by attendees from across Europe for our Technical Workshop.
There's way too much to talk about in just one blog, so we thought we'd give you a little taster of the event with a photo blog.
Pre-Conference - 12th April
After a day of deep-dive for our pre-conference attendees, we rounded things off with one of Richard South's famous Whisky Tasting Sessions. The night ended, as all good nights do, with a special concoction known as the 'Klashnikov'! We're looking forward to bringing it on the road with us :-)
Workshop Day 1 - 13th April
After covering all the latest features in Squared Up version 2.3, as well as updates on our Community platforms, we were joined by Squared Up super users who shared their case study examples and best practices with the rest of the attendees. After a slap-up lunch at The Compleat Angler's beautiful riverside restaurant, we rolled into the afternoon with a special OMS talk from Microsoft's Gavin Kemp, before rounding out the day with a tantalising look at Version 3.
With the evening drawing in, we moved to the Squared Up party on to Coppers for fantastic cocktails, food and some serious funk, laid down by our new favourite band - Boogie Wookie!
Workshop Day 2 - 14th April
With a few paracetamol and some strong coffee inside us, we braved the final day . Tao Yang led the charge with an excellent, hands-on lab session on Management Pack authoring with Visual Studio Authoring Extensions, followed by Craig Dalyrmple, Veeam Vanguard and all-round Squared Up champion, who discussed Squared Up in a Veeam / VMware context. Following some more in-depth sessions on Version 3 - including unveiling the feature everyone's been waiting for! - we signed off the workshop with an accreditation exam (with congrats to Ross for his impressive 96.2%!) and, of course, a massive Lego giveaway.
A big thank you to everyone who came and made this event such a great success. We can't wait to see you all at the next one!
