Some plugin updates to help you see the bigger picture, spot issues faster, and keep your whole team in the loop.

At SquaredUp, we’re obsessed with making monitoring not just powerful, but a genuinely delightful experience for engineers and teams. When we first built our Pingdom plugin, the goal was simple: make website uptime and performance data easy to visualize alongside everything else you care about.
But as our users pushed the boundaries—connecting more endpoints, demanding richer insights, and needing faster troubleshooting—we realized our plugin needed to keep up. So, of course, we set to work on some enhancements.
To help you get the full picture, we’ve enhanced our Pingdom integration with new out-of-the-box dashboards and improved data streams. You can now explore your uptime data more easily, share insights with your team, and view it alongside everything else you’re monitoring in SquaredUp — from cloud metrics to infrastructure health. It’s a smarter, more connected way to keep an eye on what matters.
Let's take a closer look at the improvements we've made:
We’ve refined the Pingdom summary data stream to make it more readable, filterable, and insightful. With additional columns and improved layout, you can now spot issues and trends faster than ever.
We’ve introduced two new data streams to give you deeper visibility:
Average response time – Track how quickly your sites respond, at a glance.
Uptime changes – See exactly when your sites went down or came back up
When you connect Pingdom to SquaredUp, you’re not just importing raw data, you get a ready-to-use dashboard that gives you instant insight into what matters most.
The Account Overview dashboard gives you a clean, at-a-glance view of all your checks. Right on the main screen, you’ll see key stats like the top 5 checks with the worst uptime, so you can quickly spot any issues.
Let’s say one of your checks turns red — maybe it’s Chewbacca’s health that’s looking off. That’s something that needs your attention. Just click on it, and you’re taken straight into a more detailed view.
At the top, you’ll see the drill down views called perspectives — like “Synthetic Check” or “Test Result Log.” Just pick the one you want to explore.
SquaredUp opens a focused dashboard tailored to that specific check. You’ll get all the details in one place: Average response time, uptime, test result log and everything you need to understand what’s going on.
And if you spot something worth sharing? You can share that dashboard instantly with a click.
Pingdom gives you a great view of your website’s uptime, but that’s only one piece of the puzzle.
Your apps may rely on more than just external uptime; they depend on APIs, cloud infrastructure, databases, and everything in between. With SquaredUp, you can have a unified view of Pingdom data with the rest of your stack, like AWS CloudWatch, your databases, and more.
You're still seeing the same checks and results from Pingdom, but now with full context: performance metrics, logs, infrastructure status all side by side. With SquaredUp, all your monitoring data is in one place and easy to understand.
Our improved Pingdom plugin makes it simple to visualize and explore your uptime data alongside your entire monitoring stack. With out-of-the-box dashboards and seamless drill downs, you get a clearer, more complete picture.
Best of all, it’s ready to use right now. Just connect your Pingdom account and start seeing the bigger picture instantly.
Give it a try, and as always, we’d love to hear what you think.
