We are looking for an experienced Developer Marketing Manager who will lead various functions across Product Marketing, Developer Relations, and Content to help bring awareness of this new product to a community of developers, architects, SREs, and product managers. The ideal candidate is a seasoned manager, has strong product management background, and is a self-starter who operates in fast-moving environments. We’re looking for someone who is creative, collaborative, and can ruthlessly prioritize. Travel for events, and visits to overseas offices, will be required on a limited basis.

What would you do in your first 6 months?

•Lead a diverse team of Developer Relations, Content, and events to connect with technical users in the community.

•Review and uphold SquaredUp’s tone of voice and messaging consistency across all our properties.

•Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to develop the community strategy, which will be central to our go-to-market strategy.

•Work with our product advocate teams to ensure users are successful with our product, and to understand the use cases they are achieving, so we can bring these back to the community.

•Identify opportunities to participate in existing developer and engineering communities, and creative ways to engage.

•Develop and foster a SquaredUp community where users come together to share ideas, best practices, “war stories”, and more.

•Develop and leverage content from the community for storytelling and genuine product marketing.

You have a background in product marketing and an appreciation for technology and its ability to solve real problems

You’re a motivated leader, always helping a team execute and deliver on company goals while actively improving in their careers.

You’re a self-starter, who can operate without a rulebook, but motivated to define processes that work and scale

You’ve successfully developed and nurtured a community of technology users

You have 5+ years’ experience managing a diverse team

You know what “good” looks like in terms of tone of voice and quality of message.
