Join SquaredUp! We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Administrator to join our team on a one-year fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. If you're passionate about accuracy, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are a whizz with Xero, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

As our Finance Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the financial health of our company. You'll be responsible for a variety of key administrative and financial tasks, ensuring our financial records are accurate and up-to-date. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a growing tech company and gain valuable experience within a supportive finance team.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Process invoices, expenses, and customer payments.
  • Perform month-end close activities, including accruals and prepayments.
  • Maintain financial records and handle related administrative tasks.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc duties.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in finance administration or a similar role.
  • Xero proficiency (essential).
  • Experience with Dext and ApprovalMax (desirable).
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other office software.

Qualifications:

AAT Level 3 Certificate or equivalent (Essential)
