Admin Assistant Apprentice Level 3

A bit about us

A globally successful software company headquartered in the UK, and expanding aggressively in North America, SquaredUp is loved by some of the world’s leading companies (Microsoft, Deloitte, Nestle).

SquaredUp is a growing tech firm in Maidenhead which is expanding fast. We’re looking for extra support within our busy Operations team to support our Office Manager with adhoc Finance/HR work too.

Assisting the Office Manager to ensure a clean, safe and fully functioning working office environment.

This includes:

  • dealing with the post and answering the phone
  • buying and maintaining stocks of stationery, food and drink
  • maintaining the kitchen and tea points
  • other purchasing, including staff anniversaries, rewards, significant events, SWAG
  • arranging team lunches and OOO social events (including summer and Christmas parties)
  • organising site visits for suppliers and contractors
  • conducting monthly safety inspections
  • sorting out and disposing of surplus items (to Staff and Charity)
  • ad hoc administration work with HR, Finance and Recruitment
  • other ad hoc errands & duties as required

Entry requirements:

You need to have 5 GCSE’s:

  • Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades D or above
  • 3x GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject

You must not already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same level, or higher level than this apprenticeship.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week:

Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm – (1 hour lunch) 37.5 hour week

Salary:

£14K
