This dashboard offers an overview of AWS Backup Plans by allowing you to select a specific plan from a variable dropdown and view the status of recent runs along with individual job details.

It displays the status of the most recent run for each backup job within a selected backup plan at the top tile. Below this, it provides a detailed list of all runs over the dashboard's timeframe, offering both summary and in-depth insights into backup operations.

The dashboard addresses the critical need to ensure backups are running successfully and to be promptly alerted when they are not.

By integrating this data into SquaredUp, it provides a quick-glance status that can be rolled up into workspaces or other dashboards, enhancing visibility across the organization. Business Continuity teams, who are responsible for monitoring recovery resources – including backups stored in various systems like AWS – benefit from this centralized view. Surfacing backup health outside of AWS enables these teams to view it alongside other critical resources, simplifying the monitoring process and making it easier to spot issues even when managing a large number of systems.
